About Us

We are David and Rebecca, a husband and wife team of awesome. She's the brains of the operation and I'm here for the heavy lifting and comic relief. We have 2 beautiful girls (3 and 5) who keep us on our toes at all times. I'm an architectural photographer by trade and a full time beach bum. I love surfing, climbing and extreme napping. Rebecca is a professionally trained party person, literally she has a degree in it. When she's not chasing our kids she likes to hit the gym or go for a run, she can devour a good book like nobody's business. Here's just a taste of who we are...

What is your beverage of choice?

D: BEER. I am a self-declared hop head and am physically incapable of turning down a good IPA.
R: Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, Chai Tea with Vanilla Powder, no milk. High maintenance, maybe? Delicious, YES!

Favorite TV series?

D: LOST. Best show ever, need I say more?
R: Hands down Friday Night Lights. If there were another question of who you want to be I’d answer with Tammy Taylor!! but a close second goes to One Tree Hill. A total guilty pleasure and I give permission to judge.

What 3 items would you take if you knew you were going to be stuck on a desert island?

D: Surfboard, 6’6” fish. Hunting knife. Parachute Cord, lots of it.
R: David, because he’d kind of be my genie in that I’d get his stuff too. AND because I like him. Costco pack of chap stick and tarp. (Precisely why I am taking David with me)

One item on your bucket list:

D: Take a motorcycle along the entire west coast from Mexico to Canada, camping and adventuring the whole way!
R: You know the final dance from Dirty Dancing? I WILL learn that AND perform it in front of a select group of people. Lift and all...

5 Random things:

D: 1. I was an EMT/security guard in Lake Tahoe and got to use a defibrillator on a real person. 2. I know how to knit. 3. Four colleges – Zero degrees. 4. Peeing outside is part of my daily routine. 5. If you break it, I can fix it.
R: 1. I love sugar. 2. I played softball for 8 years. 3. Did colorguard (you know, flags) for 3 years. 4. I met David when I was 15 and we have been friends ever since. 5. I graduated from college with a degree in recreation and leisure studies. Yup, for realz.
